Today I spent pretty much most of the day in class working on the window assembly on the front, first floor of my building. There are two large and prominent windows that flank the main doors. I say windows, but that is perhaps an understatement. they are huge display windows that cover the front and side of each side of the entry way. The windows themselves sit on a rather ornate assembly which stretched down to the ground.

I’ve got perhaps 90% of it done and i’m quite happy with how it turned out. Theres soem tweaking to do, and there is still a section missing on the very bottom most panel by the ground under the window. That wide decorative panel still needs to be done. In addition I need to finish the columns up next to the window. They arent’ shown here, but they are mostly done.

In other news, yesterday’s disaster seems to have changed direction. I rushed out there this morning and took some hasty measurements to work off of today in class, with the intention of going back out after class and doing some more. After class however I was hanging out around the receptionm area in the front of the school when what do I see? My missing notebook sitting on the desk!
